Description
Sea oats frame Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, which was photographed at its original seaside location before being moved farther away from the beach. Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is located at the Atlantic Ocean on Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks in the town of Buxton, North Carolina, and is part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Its 210-foot height makes it the tallest brick lighthouse structure in the United States and second in the world.
