Crossing the divide between past and present, with a huff and puff along the way, Clinchfield Railroad Number One steam locomotive navigates the Catawba River trestle near Marion, North Carolina on a passenger trip from Spartanburg, South Carolina to Johnson City, Tennessee. The old engine, which was revived for awhile to provide passenger excursions in the southeastern United States, was believed to be the oldest steam locomotive still operating in the nation.
This photograph was shot on Kodak Tri-X Pan 35mm black and white film with a 35mm wide angle lens on a hand-held camera. The train was much closer in my second shot, but unfortunately it was slightly out of focus. I can't imagine why.

Wow, Rodger what a very sensational piece of beautiful art that it making me remember one the very beautiful incident with my lover (childhood friend). An year ago we had a fight over something unworthy thing, and we had no talks for 4-5 days, and in mid of that 4-5 days I booked my ticket to travel one of the natural place in my country but the time I entered to my cabin of train I got surprised looking at my lover to make it up on our silly fight! We smiled, and kissed, and traveled together afterwards! Love it my fiend, and thank you to take me back to that Holy memory of us! :)
