Description
Crystal Blue Persuasion, it's a new vibration. This is not a snow scene, but rather Summer scenery photographed in infrared light in the picnic area at Cowpens National Battlefield in South Carolina, USA. Since chlorophyll reflects infrared light, foliage such as grass and tree leaves appears white in infrared photographs. Infrared light is a portion of the spectrum normally invisible to the human eye, but cameras can be adapted to reveal it. Photography using infrared light can produce amazing views such as this.
