Description
Long before the large, circular hay rolls of today became popular, "feet off the ground" was the preferred method of loading hay bales from the field onto a truck at the J.B. Bridges farm in upstate South Carolina. This scene was captured in the Buffalo Community of Cherokee County.
This photograph was shot on Kodak Tri-X Pan 35mm black and white film. It is part of a series profiling rural life in the county.
