Limestone Checker Club members Ed Bridges, 76, and Jesse Stepp, 68, enjoy a game in the little building known as the senior club house in Cherokee County, South Carolina. Ed, who apparently holds the upper hand, encourages the contemplative Jesse to go ahead and make a move.
This photograph was shot on Kodak Tri-X Pan 35mm black and white film. It is part of a series profiling rural life in the county.
